The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

I grabbed a copy of Shadows of the Empire on GoG’s May the 4th sale. First time with the PC version. Cutscenes are animated (poorly) unlike the N64 version. Controls are pretty dated, but it’s playable. Still fun, nice walk down memory lane.

My 3rd gen Kindle Keyboard with lighted cover is still serving me well. I do most of my reading with the light on and only have to charge it every couple of weeks. I read about 2 novels a month to put it into perspective.

I understand that older fiction is going to depict race issues differently, but “In the Vale of Lost Women” is so blatantly racist that I stopped reading Conan stories. Like the earlier stuff I read was overly concerned with race, but that story had Conan (who at this point has faced monsters and all kinds of demons)…

I agree that vegetarianism for it’s own sake is dumb. Meat is awesome...However, I'm allergic to fish. So if this is the closest I can get to real lox, I'll take it.
