That’s what kills me about people writing “articles” like this. What business is it of theirs how much someone chooses to give away, or who they give it to? No one made Bezos give that money away, so no matter if it was $1 or $2,000,000,000, it’s up to him to decide if and how he wants to use his money.

Must be fun for a company to have to try and balance rationality and emotion among the people for something they’re not at all legitimately responsible. Are we to have military checkpoints into every event that has more than 10 people? In this context, “more security” really isn’t feasible to prevent this.

Those are just games with isometric (or top-down, in the case of Frozen Synapse) cameras. Commandos, Desperados and Shadow Tactics were all squad-based stealth games that revolved around vision cones and distractions. It’s a very specific genre.

I’d certainly rather take my chances running an emulation layer to make the far superior version compatible with modern operating systems than to wrestle with the original DOS version, which from a UI/UX standpoint literally feels like the C64 or Apple II version of the original, but with better graphics.
