Care to provide any scientific evidence that sunscreen causes cancer? Also, for those of us who like to be active outside for more than an hour a day when it's quite hot outside, how do you recommend we stay cool and protected from the sun without sunscreen? Covering up doesn't seem too appealing.

It's pretty difficult these days to find a mattress that you can flip. It seems like a way to get people to buy mattresses more often.

My limit is almost $20,000 and I've never had a balance higher than $1,500. Most of the time it's under $800. I think the credit score rules are just anti-smart consumer.

When my billing cycle ends on the 15th of every month, I get an email with the balance and then pay it off that day or the next. What else am I supposed to do?

Thanks, I just got my score. It's good and I'm happy with it, but there is one thing hurting my score according to this site: my "high revolving balance." The dollar amount associated with it was equal to my last credit card payment. I pay my card off every month and have never missed a payment, yet the balance is

Has anyone used myfico.com? How easy is it to sign up, get your credit score, and cancel immediately so you're not charged?

Can someone explain the benefits of using a bookmarks bar over a bookmarks menu? The bar takes up space and just doesn't seem that intuitive to me.

Where do you live and how's your coverage? I'm thinking about switching from Verizon to VM but I know Sprint's coverage isn't great around here. I guess that means VM's is probably worse since they don't roam.

When I complained to Verizon about a monthly $1 charge (for a service I didn't use) that had been on my bill for eight months, they stopped the charge but refused to refund the total $8. I threatened to leave unless they refunded the money. They refused. I then asked if they'd at least upgrade my minutes or texting

Is it at all possible to convince Google to release a deleted Gmail account? I tried emailing the one I want years ago and it bounced back as nonexistent. The same still stands today. There must be a Google employee here who can hook me up!

There's a huge thread going on right now about this. My notifications just started arriving after months of spottiness. [www.google.com]

AHH! Just two minutes ago I Googled "how to know if tomatoes are ripe." Another case of Lifehacker reading my mind. Of course, the links provided are much better than what I found in my quick Google search.

Are there any good free multitrack recording programs? I've tried Audacity but I don't care for the interface.

I need help getting a family member on his feet.

Agreed, seems this release was mostly bug fixes and very minor changes. I'm okay with that, but I'm hoping they'll redesign the Firefox button soon to make it look more like Opera's: One column and easy to navigate.

I have my home address saved in Google Maps, but when I want to get directions to somewhere and start typing my address, it's never one of the first suggestions. In fact, I pretty much have to type the entire thing for it to show up. Is there a good shortcut to fill in my starting address quicker? The old version of

What do you think of the call reception compared to other carriers in your area? Have you ever been out of the calling area and been SOL? And do you ever find that there's a delay when sending/receiving texts?

I put all my gift and rewards cards in a binder clip and leave them in my car. That way I always have them with me when I go out but they don't bulk up my wallet. That seems like a better option than hoping a store will honor a photo of a gift card on your phone.

Did you mean smelling? If so, do you know what exactly is making your car smell bad all the time? Figuring that out and stopping it, and then cleaning the car, will be your best option.
