Interesting. When I was a teenager, I was obsessed with self-control and always doing what I thought was "the right thing." I also had a major anger problem. As I got older, I stopped being so rigid and I'm also less angry. In fact, I hardly ever get angry about anything anymore. I never thought about it, but it makes

Is anyone else having problems with bookmarks? When I bookmark something and put it in the main bookmarks menu, it always jumps up 9 spots above where I want it.

This is a pretty brilliant idea if you have a little extra money and the space for a trailer...and don't mind the possibility of your house looking kind of ghetto by having a trailer sitting outside. You can have the experience of working from home but with the added benefit leaving your house and avoiding all the

The used car situation is really pissing me off right now. Prices are already high, but they're going even higher or dealers are refusing to negotiate because gas prices are up. It's impossible to find a 3-4 year old Corolla or Civic with average mileage for less than $14,000. Might as well just spend a little more

Yeah, I guess I should've clarified. I meant buttons that act as menus. E.g. a history button that shows the same options as the history menu, a tools button that shows all the options, etc.

I wish the Firefox Button in the upper left was designed like Opera's, with all options in one column. It just seems awkward to have options in two side-by-side columns.

@zakany001: Any normal person probably would've picked the butter, but when you have extreme analysis paralysis like I do, no decisions make sense (and there's always a lot of buyer's remorse happening).

"Have you ever stood in the supermarket, deciding between two different types of toothpaste, when suddenly you realize you've been there for ten minutes?"

@Wipeout: Do you have the Element Hiding Helper for ABP+ installed? It makes blocking anything on the page SO easy. I can't believe I lived without it for so long. [adblockplus.org]

@Tylas: Brilliant, thank you! I will try this out.

Does anyone know how to keep your feet warm in the winter? If I layer socks or wear a pair of Smartwools, my feet get warm, start sweating and then get cold. If I only wear one pair of cotton socks, my feet never get warm in the first place. Oddly, if I wear Smartwool socks under mesh running shoes out in the cold, my

@zyodei: Pics or it didn't happen.

@4n7h0ny: Whoa, really? I have AAA and have been thinking about signing up for Sprint. I wonder if you can use that discount with the employee referral discount...

@FlyingIsFun1217: Can you comment on the no-roaming issue? That's one of the main things keeping me from switching to something like Virgin Mobile. Sprint coverage can be spotty enough, but without roaming I'd be worried I'd rarely have service.

What are the best prepaid cell phone plans?

You could also do what I do: Lean it against the backsplash. No binder clip required.

@ejf071189: Ahh, thanks. Had a duh moment, I guess.

Okay, I'm confused. Where does the $833.33 number come from with the Amazon Visa? Wouldn't you need to accrue 83,333 points to get that much back?

The link to the Amazon rewards card is broken because it has a quotation mark at the end.

So I've been asking a lot of questions about buying a used car, but I have another one! Is there anything wrong with buying a repo? I found what looks to be a nice certified used Honda Civic, but the Carfax says it was repossessed. One of my friends works for a dealer and he said (rather passionately, I might add)
