Give me a fucking break. This is going to sound terrible, looks dumb and casts doubt on the rest of the vehicle.

I must be missing something because i don't see any MPG numbers comparison in this article. So by 32% better fuel economy, you mean what city and what highway?

YES! reference achieved!

Gas prices kill trucks, wagons inherit the earth.

Second review on these that Truck Yeah has done that sends a mixed message... its great but its ok? Sounds like it's elevated the comfort and convenience of a mid-sizer but not the performance or mileage.

If this is true then I feel this is the appropriate outcome. It was a preventable tragedy on both parts and it is impossible to prove any sort of malicious intent. This has deeply affected Tony, and you can see it in his driving.

2.5L I4

the pre-facelift front was way better. They kinda screwed it mid-cycle.

(*once they get here because we can't yet figure them out, or at least how to cheaply implement them)

Unless you have three kids, I respectfully yet completely disagree.

Now playing

There's no need to compromise here at all, just get a '90-'99 Previa!

Sliding doors? Check.

Captain's Chairs? Check.

Y don't NEED 4/All wheel drive, but you can have it!

Also available in RWD!

You can keep it forever! #Toyota

You may not be cool anymore, but you can be with a Previa!

Did I mention

If you have 2 or less children and require the sliding doors that a van can offer the only real option is the Mazda5.

Minivans are AWESOME, and not just for families. WAY more useful than a crossover. Generally more usable space, too. And a Pilot/Highlander isn't going to be any better "off-road", either.

This post is not Sportwagons approved.

Tom this article is more painful than anything I've ever read on Jalopnik. Why? Because I hate minivans yet I know you're totally right on every point. If you were my wife, you would have won the minivan discussion and we would be shopping for an Odyssey right now. Thankfully we don't have kids right now (5 years

Full agreement here from someone who appreciates honest cars and has three kids. I'm rocking a plush Chrysler T&C on a cheap lease until my youngest has graduated from baby seats.

"I mean, you don't actually think a Chrysler dealer would give an adult raccoon $150 off, do you? Of course not! They'd give it some pine nuts, and then try to sell it a Grand Caravan."

What's wrong with these "chick cars"??
