The more perfectly zeitgeisty something is, the more perishable it is. The greatest shows are the ones that are a little "off."

I can't believe anyone remembers SUNDAY NIGHT. It was only marketed as NIGHT MUSIC overseas — my company was the foreign distributor. Wonderful idea for a show completely sabotaged by execution. It was produced by Broadway Video; I wish Lorne had taken a more direct interest in it.
