The closest thing to a WTF was Varys being in Dorne after the Tyrells went boom, and yet back on the fleet sailing to Westeros.

This is completely implausible. LF, a pimp from a minor house seizing Winterfell by killing the last true known heir is the dumbest thing he could try to do. He’s not the Boltons. He’s not a Northerner and people don’t fear him. Killing her doesn’t even get him to the Iron Throne.

Yes. It’s a story. The editing is for tidiness of storytelling and symmetry. It’s not a literal guide to the timeline. If you assume that everything is happening simultaneously, that’s an assumption that you have made, but the storytellers aren’t bound to that. They shouldn’t have to spoonfeed it to the audience in

Hard to say for sure... I honestly couldn’t tell the different bannermen apart (since the spearmen all had flayer shields). But it was pretty clear from the earlier Kastark (or was it Umber) scene with Ramsay that everyone knew he’d murdered his father and that he didn’t have much in the way of compassion. Seeing him

Wasn’t he just referring to the fact that the psychological scars would always be with her? Same as when he did the stuff to Wreak? I mean if she is pregnant that would be an interesting twist but that is what I took from it.

It’s like no dude, she’s just aged. Like how insulting to Sophie Turner as a human being, under the guise of knowing for a fact that the Sansa character is pregnant. It’s INSANE to me.

Great point...no weapon for Wun Wun? Dude could have just snatched a tree out of the ground and whacked fools with it. Instead he’s just swinging his arms around trying to grab their shields and pikes...not the smartest move.

Add to this why do they not give Wun-wun a big ass club to clean house with?

I agree. I don’t think that, as the column posits, they had “just arrived.” I think Sansa practiced what she preached to Jon...patience. Even with Jon’s life at risk, she remained emotionally detached enough to wait until the Bolton forces had been diminished...then sent in the Knights of the Vale. It is a subtle but

But here’s the thing: I saw no proof that she knew there was another army on it’s way. Maybe we’ll find out differently later, but at this point all we know is that she sent a raven to Littlefinger and asked for help. She had no way of knowing if or when he was coming...yeah, sure, if she could say, “hey, they’ll be

Absolutely not. After Winterfell she had hypothermia, she has been riding horseback constantly for weeks. If she discovers she is pregnant she will abort it. She sees the Boltons as monsters and there is absolutely 0% chance she gives birth to a Bolton willingly. So if she doesn’t abort it at first opportunity she

Eh, I’m going to go with she wasn’t sure if Littlefinger was going to answer the summons, especially after their last encounter.

That is def possible, however theres no way Ramsey would be so sure of it so he could just be talking about how he cut her and tortured her and she will never forget.

For me, “I’ll always be a part of you” is all about the rape and the trauma. Ask any survivor.

Respect to the director Miguel Sapochnik, now that he’s directed two of the best battle episodes ever for GoT. Hardhome is still his masterpiece, but BoB was riveting as hell.

No film with a medieval-esque setting that I’ve ever filmed a battle in a way that presented quite that kind of randomness to it (the action, the camera work, etc.).

I agree she should have been upfront about the Littlefinger situation, but I disagree she was acting like a teenager. She is acting like Littlefinger’s protege, which she is. If Littlefinger had played with armies like that, everyone would be talking about how brilliant he was not to show his cards until everything

This is what I’ve been saying! Ugh. There was no way to know if the Vale army would show up at all or even be on time. It’s like House Manderley. They sent a raven to them but hadn’t heard back, and that was BEFORE Sansa attempted to contact Littlefinger to ask for his help. But those people on the Sansa hate train

I don’t think Sansa knew they were coming for sure. She had told Littlefinger to get bent, so she might not have wanted to give Jon false hope only to have it end in disaster when the backup never arrived.
