I was told by many nurses that my obstetrician is one of the few in the area, who does not pressure women into C-sections. He allows women to labor and only recommends a C-section if there appears to be an issue.

YES> The last sentence resonates. I had a big disagreement with my ob/gyn for my 3rd pregnancy about her insistence that I “NEEDED” to have a c-section due to 2 previous sections. (The first “may” have been necessary, it was not an emergency, but I am certain the second was not, just the impatience of the ob/gyn - it

Is this a serious response? Like, did you really just pull the "People are being raped, so discussing everyday sexism that women encounter is trivial"? Because I actually had a modicum of respect left for you before you stooped to this truly pathetic rebuttal.

And as an actual human woman (and former bartender) who has lots of experience being hit on at bars, once again, I'm telling you that unless you're suggesting Purple Haze along with a few other non-fruit beers, you're just as likely to come off as a condescending asshole as you are to be successful. I'm glad you're

And what I'm saying is that what you're "merely suggesting" is a bad idea that's just as likely to make you look like a condescending asshole as it is to succeed. Most people aren't hitting on 10 women at one time and trying to choose a drink they think would appeal to the majority of them. You're trying to hit on

Women buy a lot of this beer at my place/women buy more of this beer at my place than men do =/= Women love this beer more than any other by far. If a dude bought me (or ANY of my friends) a fruit beer at a bar, it would not be well-received.

If we, as a nation, can raise $862,000 in a day to cater a hypothetical gay wedding with hate pizza, I’d like to think that we could afford $5 million per year to not further cause harm to rape victims.

So I'm black.

Point-by-point:

No, running from police is no longer an acceptable reason for shooting a suspect.

No one gets the death penalty for "resisting arrest". The MOST you can get is a year in jail and a $2500 fine. It is not a human right to execute people for resisting arrest.

The guy was running AWAY, not toward him. Sorry, this isn't Ferguson. That excuse isn't going to work this time.

Oh and JUST incase you think

Actually, both men served in the Coast Guard. Guess how many stories mention that the victim served compared to those mentioning the murderer served?

Holy Fuck you're right. Maybe he was running towards a loaded cannon. Better put 8 rounds in him just be sure.

Just two things of note

Great job of elegantly capturing a sentiment I've had a hard time communicating to friends or family who still do not think this is an issue of utmost importance.
