The second i heard the music in this season i could tell it would suck ass, maybe it's cause i play fallout alot but the music just doesn't sound right for this show. You'd think they could afford some d-list songs from the 60's if they can afford lana.

It's strange. Other than Asylum, it has the best set up and imagery, yet it can't quite bank on that. I still have hope for it, but it's not doing it for me, the way I wanted it to.

That's classism. They're not making fun of white people, they're making fun of poor people. Different kind of opression but still opression.

USA parties throw by people in other countries are probably a better parallel (really party that mimicking your nationality by people who are not that nationality.) They capture the strange reductive nature of it all.

Two things. One, I 100% want to play Edward Chardonnay Hands. Actually, and this says so many (not good) things about me, can we make it Edward White Zin Hands? Two, since when is it not acceptable to stay home and watch Netflix?

False equivalency. They're not as common as parties that appropriate poc cultures.

I've never heard of anyone besides white people throwing white trash parties.

Those are totally different. They're rich people making fun of poor people and they're tacky as hell.

What spoiler? The only reason we wrote about the show this week is because two major characters died. I withheld the names from the first paragraph so that they wouldn't be visible on the mainpage. At what point are we allowed to write about a show? After you've personally gotten around to watching it orrrrrr?

I'd appreciate it if Ryan Murphy didn't turn AHS into another fucking Glee, please and thank you.

I wanted so badly to like this season. The two best characters were Mordrake (very minor character) and Twisty (only in a few episodes). Emma Roberts' "acting" is maybe the worst I've seen.

I read this post knowing there'd be spoilers because I wanted the gist without actually having to watch the show. I lost interest about 3 episodes ago, when Elsa sang Life on Mars for the second time (maybe they could only afford to get one Bowie tune?) I mean when Jessica Lange can't keep me invested, that's a bad

She goes out singing Nickelback.

for real. The only great parts RS the ones directly plagarized by Todd browning's freaks and the 80's slasher angle with the clown.

Yes, I have to agree, this season is not as good as seasons past. Hoping it picks up soon.

I just watched this ep, and I gotta say: I'm so, so bored by this season.
