@Watford: Actually it was probably built by the Germans to withstand the British invasion.

Fragmentation itself is a Red Herring.

@bobthefrog1114: I have an android phone and have never had an issue with fragmentation.

@redman042: Walt Mosspuppet is still trying to get his soundboard online. If you want an earfull from a complaining developer there you go.

@im.thatoneguy3: There is efficiency ratios for the conversion of radioactive material to energy. The more material that becomes energy the less there is to fall back to earth as fallout.

@nandreetta: I imagine a slower descent would extend the lifespan of a trooper's legs but all the Airborne soldiers I knew said that too slow of a descent is a problem in a warzone.

@theubersmurf: Me too, seems I saw this every 3-4 years in science or physics classes.

@Lucian Armasu: I think the most misleading part is the time scale. 2007 to 2010?

Keep in mind that a repeater will halve your bandwidth passing through it. Not a big deal surfing the internet but when transferring files the already small 54mbps becomes 27mbps in ideal conditions (10-20mbps in reality)

@Ozzie, The Last Hairbender: If you live in an apartment think about running the cables along the baseboards. If you got carpet you may be able to squeeze the cables between the floor and baseboard and keep them mostly hidden and less of a tripping hazard.

I'm actually least impressed with the software and UI. They did a good job making the dual screens recognize orientation, and it's a trick to move items from one screen to another. But it's not really ground breaking, and seems kind of cluttered and confusing.

I don't see a problem.

@NVJar: Volunteer services work great in smaller areas where services aren't in constant need. But when Firefighters are needed all day they need some money for equipment and support before the fire starts.

@Kent Smith: That might work but you're basically getting emergency services on credit. And if there's one thing our country has issues with its putting buying things on credit then defaulting on the repayments.

This has nothing to do with Libertarianism, it has to do with taking something that you didn't pay for.

Pantone is a color matching company. This is an article about the color of paint on a bike, a color that is so trendy (among hipsters) that the color code must be advertised prominently on the bike so that people know it's not just Red, it's Pantone 186C.

@echo off: I saw a Japanese company that made residential sized units that had problems with whistling sounds at high RPMs.

If you just want a kickstand/dock right now or are cheap like me, grab a sheet of paper out of the office printer and make your own in just a few minutes. #tips

@Rybones2112: It's actually a great idea of monitoring a large site like this. Kind of the 1300 sq mile equivalent of putting cameras at the corner of a building
