I honestly think part of the problem is the name. Flex? Pretty crappy. They should’ve gone with Fairlane. Or even Turnpike Cruiser. Flex evokes nothing, which is a shame for such a cool car.

Reminds me of my old ‘89 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition, white with blue striped interior, manual sunroof. Installed mild Neuspeed springs, had some no-name 6-spoke 15” wheels painted gunmetal gray, Euro 2-round headlight grill, ‘92 bumpers, custom stereo. Loved that car.

Sold it to a friend, moved to Florida, came back…
