this is my new favourite kotaku comment

Look, you can’t get away with this in the rest of the business world. As a member of a community partnership program with a multi-billion dollar company, you’re allowed to criticize, but when you break decorum and get nasty, you lose partnership. That’s the way it works. They get to choose who they get to partner

Yup. Unbelievable, top mom in almost any fiction ever, one of the best written characters in existence. ;)

100% agreement. Sachiko is one of my favorite anime characters of all time; just wish she had more screen time. She’s a really, truly dedicated mom, and she’s just a standout person, even if she doesn’t steal the show.

I checked this list solely to see if Sachiko was on it, and was looking for a pic of her when I noticed that you already beat me to it. Good job, and good taste, sir.

Wiiiiiitch.

I came here to make sure she was mentioned and you have done it. Never have I felt so strongly about a fictional mom. Also, what a badass.

How in the world did Sachiko from Erased not make the cut?

Then why the fuck make a system that you can claim will do it? Sure, take it with you but want to play what’s apperently one of the best games ever made? Too bad.

Also kind of defeats the point of having a portable option, if you can’t play the games most people will want to play when using it using it that way for any extended amount of time.

This excuse is like trying to convince someone that it doesn’t matter that their phone battery only has a 15 min talk-time, because it can view messages for 3 hours.

That’s not how it’s been marketed... The emphasis has heavily fallen on the handheld, take-it-anywhere aspect. That’s the part of the Switch that lots of people (myself included) are most excited for. So yeah, 2.5 hours doesn’t really cut it. I mean, it’s workable, but certainly not ideal.

Fair. Hidden Figures tells an awesome story, without bludgeoning the viewer over the head repeatedly regarding racial disparity. Being raised in a bi-racial home, it was nice to just get the damn story for a change, without someone visibly vying for an Oscar with absurdly inflated melodrama.

Go for Hidden Figures, hands down.

That’s not just a problem with children. Being able to both criticize and support something at the same thing is a concept lost of the bulk of American’s, if you look at our political discourse.

Even a statement like, “I support our troops but not the war” is difficult for some people to understand.

My daughters love him and, while they understood what he did was wrong, they didn’t understand why so many people were so mad....and I had to explain to them that this type of stuff, joke at other’s expense, isn’t funny. There were 1000 things he could have had them write on that sign.

What I see more than people ‘drooling’ over a ‘lumbersexual’ Ryu is actual websites posting all of the preorder skins and not making statements about sexiness and ‘thirst’. If you were really writing what people cared about and you sincerely believed people cared about how HOT the costumes are, you would’ve put all of

But that has the same headline as yours with the descriptions changed round...

This would’ve been an unacceptable article, right? Especially with that paragraph about how the internet’s thirsty for Ryu’s dick, but about Chun-Li’s vagina. Why not just write an article about all of the preorder costumes and keep the objectification out of it?

An amusing concept of demanding realistic breast physics when the characters flipping back and forth in forth in the air, attacking people with forces that can break spines and tear muscles and moving faster than a human could ever do. I think your demands of “realism” are unrealistic.
