This is my situation as well. I changed my name to my mothers maiden name and I will be damned if I change it another time. I’ve changed it to something important, the process was painful and arduous, so ffuccccckchanging it again.

My aunt hyphenated her last name Smith-Jones, and when her sons were born she gave them the middle name Smith, so they are Frank Smith Jones. They have the Middle Surname on their facebook but I believe go by Frank Jones irl.
