“I will be watching the election results from Trump Tower in Manhattan with my family and friends.”

Yeah, pretty sure it’s not the opinions themselves she found navel-gazing, but the way they chose to word/present them.

I hope you saw the Jezebel response, because it is fucking marvelous.

To be honest most of them were whiny douches to start with.

Sorry I thought you were explaining why you didn’t vote. Complaining about the sad state of the gerrymandered electoral map is perfectly reasonable provided that you still vote. This issue is something that Obama wants to tackle post-presidency, and I couldn’t be more pleased with that decision.

Thank you for showing those shitbags at Deadspin how it’s done.

Can you read? That comment didn’t say none of the dudes are voting for Clinton.

Congratulations on your self-fulfilling prophecy.

Because we aren’t fucking idiots.

I love you all so, so much.

So you don’t have judges, city councilpeople, state reps, sheriffs, DAs, school boards and so on to elect?

It’s always walls of text with these dicks isn’t?

Thank you. I’ve had conversations this morning with three people (all voting Hillary) who admitted that they are sort of not that horrified by the idea of a Trump victory because it will just burn it all down the faster.

I think saying you’re “holding your nose” to vote for a presidential candidate is just a weird way to put it. What you’re doing is voting for someone who you don’t entirely agree with because of the only two options that will come to pass, you know one is better than the other. It’s the same thing most of the

I wish it was a surprise that all the female staff are upfront about voting for Hillary while a lot of the (mostly white) male staff either aren’t voting for either candidate because they’re not in a contested state or have to “hold their nose” to vote for her.

Are you saying that the US President is an “unaccountable emperor?” Because really? The Prime Minister in any parliamentary system has more power than the US President. Let alone, you know, North Korea.

“Unaccountable emperor?”

I’m going to rant, pointlessly, in the greys. Do you hate the system? Do you want to change things? Then get involved in local government. Hell, get involved with the party you most agree with, and change it. Don’t make a vague plan to vote for the perfect thing that will be just the best, once you come up with it.

For the “holding your nose” contingent, has there ever been a major party nominee for President who you were excited to vote for because of their proposed policies?

I live in a closed primary state and I am not a Democrat so I can assure you I did not vote for Bernie in the primary.
