I think the point is that Netflix isn’t so much “lots of cool stuff and lots of crap”, it’s lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of crap and also some cool stuff if you can sort through the crap to find it. He mentions over and over how much of Netflix’s content is completely generic formulaic…
