As a millenial, this thing is the complete opposite of what I want in a car. It literally could not be farther from something I would ever drive.

Absolutely. Back in the day, the GOP (at least sometimes) represented the sane, sober, adults in the room. But ever since Reagan started courting Southern Evangelicals and other, assorted extremists, that’s really not been the case.

Democrats won’t be happy until 300 million Americans are on food stamps. They get closer to their goal every year.

This. If parties actually had more centralized power, I feel like we could cut out 60% of the bullshit.

Those numbers really perfectly illustrate the fact that these guys show about as much respect for tax dollars as they do for toilet paper. $2.5 billion in losses from the last shutdown... and they are going to do it again over $500 million of funding that is only loosely tied to the issue they are up in arms about.

I think it’s entirely possible to be a moderate, or even moderately conservative, and still be utterly appalled at what has become of the Republican party over the last decade.
