About $800 USD for this cab ride is still a hell of a lot cheaper than getting a DUI.

Just buy one used. Resale values on expensive Japanese luxury sedans are crap. (The Lexus LS being the exception).

Exactly, it’s the best color of leather you should never sit on.

All I can think about is how that white leather would show every single scuff and stain. Why would anybody want an interior that bright? Especially with no window tint like the one shown.

Not to mention that both of them also got their asses bailed out by the U.S. government.

That’s hilarious because I literally did the exact same thing on a campout once when I was boy scouts. I was probably about 13 at the time as well.

“if people are actually buying a car based on the software on the center screen, that’s a sad state of affairs”

It looks like colored particle boards to me. I’m sure it’s much nicer in person.

Just wait a few hundred million years and it will work itself out.

I agree. I really don’t think there’s much money to be made by GM selling a Cruze hatchback, at least not in the U.S. market. I feel like the Mazda 3, Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf, and Subaru Impreza are all better cars than the Cruze and already cover the hatchback market in that class. Maybe they want to try to get

I agree actually. I drove one as a rental car and was thoroughly impressed. Even with the non ecoboost 3.5 v6 they are surprisingly quick. I can only imagine how fast the ecoboost ones are.

5th Gear:

Absolutely. Uber drivers can pick whatever trips they want to, see what the rider’s feedback and rating is, and even cancel the trip right at the last minute. I sure as hell wouldn’t pick up an uber rider with a low rating if I was a driver.

Rust. Definitely rust. Other than that though, I’ve got nothing.

There would probably be no manual transmission available either.

That’s number one on my list. Why Gawker lets her, somebody from a highly populated urban area who clearly doesn’t know shit about cars or anything about the world beyond the city write about cars is beyond me. You can’t fix stupid, I guess.

“The units range from $2000 to $3000 per month.”

I almost bought an ES300 for myself when I was 19. I was always fond of this generation of these for some reason. I ended up buying this cars most direct competitor though, the Infiniti I30. You really couldn’t go wrong with either of those and they’re still solid cars today that can be picked up for peanuts.

I suppose you have some valid points, however, the Pod-Racing video game for Nintendo 64 was anything but horrible.
