Actually, I’m not hanging out at any bars nowadays. I managed to grab one of the available ones a few years ago, and I don’t plan on releasing her back into the wild. :)

I’d argue the site was pure genius. The guy managed to get millions of unfaithful husbands to give him thousands of dollars for doing absolutely nothing as he had managed to trick them into thinking the site was full of women.

Do you have kids?

I’ve worked in a busy mall pizza shop and at a big box electronics retailer for over half of my working adult life. There is one thing I learned. There is no boundary on decent people vs total a-holes. It spans all races, cultures, genders, and economic statures. There is a sprinkling of good and bad in every camp.

Top one should be a Safari (wagon).

V60 Polestar for comfy reliability.

Simple. Make a better car-buying decision.

Good luck finding a car without every option anymore. Apparently, that’s what consumers want (or the dealers are ordering them that way to force them to want them). It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a new plain-jane vehicle.

Yeah, sure. Skimp out now. Who’s going to be the fool when my fully-loaded Stratus crosses the Mecum auction block in 20 years?

one of the nicer modern flaresides.

I don’t see the rage of the CUVs. They offer less room then sedans, less people hauling capability then a minivan, worse mileage then either, and are generally ugly.

If I had $7000 laying around I would buy this over a Miata

It looks like we’re about to move from #2 to #3. Have you seen the market news today?

I hate children.

And rapidly heading towards step 3 today.

Last time it was houses, time before that it was credit cards, time before that it was online stock trading... Capitalism loves boom and bust.

4th Gear: The Average Used Car Price Is Now $18,800

Besides, I’m going to challenge you on problem number four. You sound like you are trying to imply that we are victim of a large conspiracy to make us buy things we don’t want. Same arguments people here are often making about wagons vs crossovers. Automakers, like any other businesses, are reacting to market trends.

1st gear: With regards to the Jeep Wrangler. Living in Toledo, this is a hot issue lately (for several reasons; jobs and pride being the main two). Now, I know we always say that if an automaker were to stop producing something here (U.S.) and produce it somewhere else (Mexico, China, etc.) that we wouldn’t buy it.
