If there were enough witnesses I think he still would have been. Easily.

Yeah, that guy is full of shit. That’s an unacceptable problem on any car. That might be the most bullshit thing I hear for the rest of the month. I can’t believe some dealers think people are really that stupid.

Oh I know! When I visited Catalina Island there were tricked out golf carts for sale everywhere. That place is like being in a different country.

I do not take consumer reports seriously for automotive advice. I admit they’ve been better about being less biased lately, but the majority of the time they only like cars that are:

“I don’t just look. I also glance inside to see if they have a manual transmission”.

My driver’s ed teacher picked me up at my house (it was a private driving school) with a girl who was also in the school at the time, who was driving the car. I thought that was weird.

If it has the 2.7 v6 then it probably already is dead

1st Gear: Ubiquitous Civic

I don’t know what it is with these guys trying to sell 9-2x aeros for over 10k. They know damn well that these cars are worth 7-9k on a good day. I walked on a guy who wouldn’t come down from $11.5k on an aero a few months ago.

I was going to say the same thing. They are way too easy to get a rise out of over there.

5th gear:

I agree with that. Can I afford them though? Hell no. Maybe one day.

I’m sure I could figure out a way to have fun in a Prius. What I like most about the Jetta is that you can get it with a 6-speed manual. That’s fun!

That’s really not saying all that much. TDI’s today are producing 50-60 more HP and significantly more ft-lbs of torque than the mk4 TDI did. The difference in performance would be quite noticeable and they will easily out accelerate and out handle a Prius. But, if you want to have fun in a Prius, you are certainly

Any car that doesn’t have this bullshit

Why the fuck do people always steal cars that stand out? Anyways, I am hoping the owner gets it back intact and in a timely manner.

I’ve never driven a Volt so I can’t really compare. Low end torque is always fun though.

Yeah, you would think they would do that. They’re probably not doing it to preserve the electric only range for as long as possible. What do I know though, I’m not an engineer.

A lot of people liked diesels because they offer good fuel economy, and unlike most hybrids, they are also fun to drive.

How About This 1978 Cadillac Seville for $6,500?
