That was beyond awful, it was tasteless, exploitative of a private moment (on the couple's part), cheap and narcissistic.

Some states still require blood tests before you can marry, to see if one of you is an STD carrier. I remember this in NC in the 70's, but I always was told it had to do with making sure you weren't marrying someone closely related.

Looks like Patmos, must have been the mushrooms I was eating.

I have an original like the first one here. Are they worth anything?

The thing about Revelations is that it was written by John when he was on the island of Cyprus, an island world renown for its psychedelic mushrooms. Anyone that's been high on mushrooms recognizes the "trips" John was having when he wrote Revelations. Many ancient peoples believed that psychedelic mushrooms and

I've heard this as well, and it makes since. Our 2007 Prius is on its 250,000 mile. The body and transmission seem to be the weakest link so far, the batteries are still running strong.

For those too lazy to follow the links and wonder if their car is included in the recall:

Our city uses huge suction hoses to clear leaves in neighborhoods which then go into a shredder. I would think a shredder attached to a vacuum hose would be a better way to remove those than a dump truck because there is so much wasted space doing it that way.

Nope, they are too far to the right of Eisenhower, who didn't believe in a Darwinian social policy like this guy does:

The guy on the right isn't a Muslim, but a frequent boogie-man of the religious right.

Nostradamus couldn't have been more accurate than Eisenhower was. I wish Republican's were like this today.

The average user knows of this toggle thingy?

Throw in a free Kindle and I'd be willing to pay more. How many Prime memberships are simply renewed due to inaction of the customer? I suspect a lot thus it would pay for the Kindles.

In case someone asks if this was filmed with a potato, its a "composite of three images captured by high-speed video. The square speckles provide a random pattern used in digital image correlation algorithms to calculate test unit motion in 3-D using special equipment."

Yeah, those arguments are pretty stupid. All they have to do is look at D.C. to see how stupid it is. People that commit crimes aren't going to pay or be able to pay to get on Marta. If they are going to go up to Roswell and Sandy Springs to rob people, why would they get back onto Marta? Yeah, let me haul this

Black Ice?! What about all that white snow? :)

I've lived in D.C. and Atlanta. D.C. is twice the size of metro Atlanta and they are building the Metro all the way out to Dulles airport, which would be like Lilburn or Lawrenceville for Atlanta, so that excuse is a poor one.

I agree race has something to do with it. I use to live in Atlanta. However, I also lived right out of Washington D.C. which has a great Metro line that goes out to the suburbs and a lot of people use it. As everyone knows, metro D.C. is very white and D.C. is very black. So in this case, race isn't a factor.

As much as people dislike Ballmer, and for good reasons, I'm going to miss him as he was one of the originals, along with Jobs and Gates. He's the last of the pioneers to head a major tech company that started in the 70's.
