I use oak charcoal so as long as there are oak trees, I think we'll have plenty of charcoal. There aren't too many people that use charcoal as much anymore. Go look at a Home Depot or Lowes and you'll see they primarily sell gas grills. I'm more concerned with industrial pollution than I am some guy in their yard

I only use the oak charcoal. When its done, I take the ash and dump it in my garden, so I get a two-fer. The ash becomes part Potash which is very good for your vegetables. If you have a weber kettle grill, there is a bucket at the bottom that catches all of the ash and you can easily remove and dump the ash. Like

Great tips there, but charcoal is easy to start with a chimney....just grab a brew while your chimney is doing its work. Gas grilling leaves 50% of the thrill out of the process as well as having an inferior taste.

Nice. That makes a lot of sense.

Just curious, but how does a dead cockroach pass along the mutated genes (that resulted from the prior bait traps) to future cockroaches?

The market didn't punish Samsung for the Galaxy II similarities to the iPhone, so HP is smart to replicate the Macbook Pro.

I can't quite get excited about a "rocket" engine strapped to a couple of wheels. Sure, it takes balls of steel to do this, that part is impressive, but I'd much rather have that Kawasaki that blew it away in the 1/4 mile.

Wonderful use of this technology. I remember the first test tube baby being born, the first artificial heart implanted and now this. I imagine there could be all sorts of uses for this technology.

My day is complete now.

If you look carefully up to the left, you will see a French guard taunting the workers.

You might need this, which is in short supply in those countries:

That won't do much for infants who cannot eat solid foods.

Here is the Soprano's version of an LED lightbulb review

All of these look hideous. I wouldn't upgrade for any of them. They look like something I have left in a toilet.

Thanks. I love it. I also really like the weekly emails they send that show photos 1 year ago from today. I rediscover some of the photos I had forgotten about this way.

If we take Job's belief that PC's will turn into trucks and tablets are the future, then this all makes perfect sense based on that prediction, which Ballmer quickly poked fun at. Let's accept at face value for the moment Job's prediction. If trucks are utilitarian, all anyone wants from a truck (mainstream folks),

Apple's argument is probably along the lines of "we have the greatest share of music consumers in the world and we can deliver far more revenue than Pandora, therefore we should get a discount". It's a fair argument.

These would also make excellent cold frames in the garden. Today people use PVC to make these temporary structure, but this would be much more eco-friendly and they could sell millions of them each year to gardeners. I'd buy at least 20 of them every year if they were reasonably priced.
