I believe, though I could be wrong, but the jury instructions or closing arguments, can't remember which, stated that the jury didn't have to find that Apple lost sales but that there was a dilution of their patents and brand by the use of their patents.

No one is going to nullify the jury decision on what happened during the trial with the jury. There may be appealable grounds, but it won't have anything to do with how this jury deliberated.
