Oops, G is 10 Meters per second, 30 feet, so the 6 G is correct after all. But again it's a super simple formula (just need to keep metric and imperial units straight, which I failed to do)
OK. If a body accelerates from 0 to 183 Ft/sec in one second, it's experiencing an acceleration of exactly 183 Ft/sec-squared. That's 18Gs, not 6. This is not a "super rough" calculation so I'm guessing that it's wrong, but not sure how.
