I'm unabashedly a fan. But I recognize how their personalities could grate (could apply to a lot of bands). But some of the criticism I've never understood. They've often been accused of being some prefabricated studio band, a product of some record company predestined for success. That simply isn't true. Henley

You can't get something that is nonsensical.

The Eagles are cool. People who base their opinion of them on that movie (which you do not, since you do listen to them) are the ones that aren't cool. Zombies that quote overrated movies and take little "truths" from them are not cool.

It's very odd. A lot of people claim hatred for them because they only wrote hit songs. So writing music that people like is somehow bad.

Kills me how the hipsters quoting that movie don't seem to realize that they, more than the Eagles, epitomize what the Dude hates about society. A bunch of robots with no original thoughts.

Timothy B. Schmitt sang lead on I Can't Tell You Why.

Sad how many people judge the Eagles by one scene in a hipster movie. A good movie, but also a vastly overrated one.

I rather enjoy reading some personal vindication of my opinions of some Beatles songs. I have always ripped the "genius" of John Lennon. I don't want that to sound too harsh, but I think he's always gotten way too much "most talented Beatle" credit. Great artist, great talent. Most talented Beatle? Arguably,

I don't care how overplayed it may be. "Let It Be" is one of my all-time favorites. Majestic melody, meaningful lyrics.

"Jason Mantzoukas is always good when used properly (and sparingly)."

Why would any of them like each other? I think that's kind of the point of the whole show.

Oh joy, another "Rafi and Randy" episode coming up. The one last year was total garbage. Rafi is a character type that should be used in very, very small doses. Total fail when episodes revolve around him, but that's what happens when writers are going dry: crank up the lowest-common-denominator humor.

This has become a show that I watch out of habit, not because it's particularly good or funny. The first two seasons were great, since then it's kind of like Family Guy for me. I still watch it (though not every week). Each episode is good for a laugh or two, but the stories are often lame, unfunny, and don't work

At least he didn't start flinging feces at the booing crowd.

The show is just so stupid. Bad writing, horrible acting. Yet I keep watching, though the comedic "this is so dumb" value is dwindling rapidly.
