Except the point that The Witcher is not a Bethesda game nor does the Witcher series play like the Bethesda games you're referencing...

Now I'm hungry. I guess that's mission accomplished. Very detailed, very impressive.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. On the one hand, I don't think Metal Gear will be the same without him and I've been playing the series since it first hit the US in 1988. On the other hand, if he really wants to work on something other than Metal Gear then I'm happy for him.

This still looks plenty good to me. I held off on this one (partly due to the condition Unity launched in) but it looks like I may have made a mistake.

Do you feel fighting games are very poorly designed? I ask as those are almost universally a poor experience on a keyboard in my experience.

I hate to say it, but no. I have a Vita and love it (mostly for JRPGs and PS4 remote play) but I'd be lying to myself and others if I said Sony supported it well. I don't have faith they'd support another handheld any better than they've supported Vita.

Many thanks for the review.

Thank you for this story. This will help me explain what's been going on to some of my family who were wondering why they were having trouble getting their hands on these very products, particularly the 3DS.

Wow, I would have never known most of these were Garry's Mod. Very impressive.

Thank you for the clarification. Others might have needed it, but I did as I wasn't reading "this is an inane conversation" the way you intended. Cheers.

Portal, while excellent, short and single player, did not come out at $60 price point. It came out at a $50 price point bundled with several other games one of which is still one of the most popular multiplayer shooters in existence even today. The "value" is arguably fairly different.

We (my household) may be having exceptional luck. We have all of Telltale's game on Steam and several of them we also have iPhone, 360, PS3 and Vita copies as well. We haven't run into any of these issues...yet.

"Back in the day, it was a walled garden surrounded by a moat full of genetically enhanced killer mermaids—a storefront that only featured (rare exceptions aside) the best of the best. Everything else was ruthlessly punched and shown the door. People knew they could go there for quality."

Well stated.

I see a minimal difference on my rig between high and ultra textures either using my 27 inch monitor or my 42 inch. Extremely minimal to the point of wondering if the ultra texture pack is even functioning at times. I'm wondering if perhaps I'd notice a bigger difference at 4K rather than 1080.

Agreed.

Personally, theories and "brand loyalty" (WTF?) aside, as a consumer I wouldn't even entertain the idea of paying $2.5-$5 a month for 4 games from EA when PS Plus is just over $4 a month for dozens of games. What they're saying in this article makes sense even before delving into ulterior motives.

"appealing to PC users who don't need to play serious games and thus don't care as much about spending upwards of $300 for the best graphics card imaginable."

I wondered the same thing actually. I can't quite make out what expression that is, it's fairly ambiguous to me between crying and breaking a smile. Also, this story doesn't add up unless this is an example of things being lost in translation.

That's exactly what I'm looking at right now at my workstation. It is too small and inaccurate for any gaming I do though. Comfy but not suitable for my gaming. I use a SteelSeries 4HD at home.
