Hmmm, that just put that game completely off of my buy list. It's not a matter of the money, it's still peanuts for what was a good game when I originally played it on release back in the day.

I generally play all of my games on Normal. As I've gotten older I play games less for challenge and more the experiences, atmosphere, stories, etc.

You are not alone.

Sometimes being straight forward is as eloquent as it gets IMO.

OK, I LOL'd at that pic. Well done.

Looks sexy, but I'll stick to my Naga. Can never have too many buttons as far as I'm concerned but you can have too few and I'm used to having a TON now.

He said "because they are DRIVING it from backstage". Listen to it again. It's a blatant lie disguised as a joke.

I'm hard pressed to remember a time when Valve didn't have competition and/or third party DRM didn't already exist. The publishers had DRM already well before Steam came about. Steam had to prove to the publishers that their service is going to be successful and a way they would want to do business in the future. You

It's not a matter of their "willingness" in the DRM situation. It's either they do what the publisher wants with the publisher's product (just like with prices, publishers set those too) or the publishers will sell their stuff in all the other stores but Steam (like what EA recently started doing with newer titles). 258? Pfft slacker. :D

Nicely done.

I'm likely, though not definitely, going to give this game a try because it's Ninja Theory and I immensely enjoyed both Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.

Looks fine to me for compilation box art. But I set my standards low for compilation box art anyway.

You just named a bunch of games that are more role playing games than adventure games. I'll give Zelda a pseudo-pass though that's more of an action-adventure and this list seems to be avoiding action games on purpose for true adventure games.

Pretty much. We get articles about how the "mainstream" media is wrong when blaming videogames for unrelated things and then on this same site we get articles like this one. Not exactly what I'd call a consistent stance on the issue even if the article technically isn't blaming the game.

"They've pretty much ruined me in the past 24 hours."

I never thought of it that way. Good point, damned good point.

Pretty much. We aren't far enough from the days of Grand Theft Auto being labeled a murder planner and simulator. Something that uses real streets like this? Yeah, don't let mass media start another worthless agenda. They have enough already.

What makes it so good?

I know right.
