Again some screw up involving an Ubisoft game and an internet connection. This isn't even surprising anymore...

'bout....damned....time.

@TheMightyEthan: I hope so. A team is more than just the leads.

They can improve it all they want, it's already made it's first impression on me. I was a big fan of ubisoft titles but I'm pretty much a lost customer with this stuff in place.

@Shrewsbury: I didn't see any gameplay to judge if it looks fun this time. Meh, we'll see.

Another example of it only does everything...until Sony changes their mind. Doesn't directly affect me (I don't have Linux on my PS3) but it's jacked that corporations keep trying to do this and often succeed.Stick a feature in, get sales, remove feature after the sales are made.

@ara: Yes, just yes. When OS 3.0 came out most of the features went to the odler hardware too. I know this personally because at the time I had older hardware at the time and the newest hardware by virtue of having 3 different model iPhones in the home at the time the update was released.

@shimage: Like I said before "the majority" of features carry over to older devices. The copy-paste you mentioned for example carried over to older devices when it became available so that wasn't an excuse to get people to buy new hardware since old hardware got it too. No one had to buy a new $300 device for

@shouryuuken: Exactly. I game on my iPhone 3GS as my mobile gaming device of choice since it's already there. Touchscreen controls work just as well as buttons in well developed games (not the sea of shovelware) so I have no issues there.

@Nulls: And AT&T is a BIG problem. I swear I wish I could put my 3GS on a more consistent network.

@shimage: Considering that the majority of new features generally carry over to older hardware I'm not sold on the "holding out to make people buy new hardware" theory.

I think they played it safe. Using the content "reason" (read: excuse) is a little transparent when there seems to be time to create, polish and release DLC content some of which was day one.

@scrapking: Kotaku usually posts the chart by revenue not the chart by unit sales.

Funny. I was reading this and actually thinking "time to back up my Mass Effect 1 and 2 saves." and then I got to the last paragraph :)

Nice one. really nice.

Double Dare flashbacks right there.

@nukee: I approve this message.

@greyseal: LOL, I see what you did there.

@TheBrainninja: Not a "Physx card" like the old Ageia ones. I'm using my old BFG 8800GT OC Edition as a dedicated Physx card while using my ATI cards for the graphics rendering.
