So are we just ignoring the fact that one of the Firebirds for sale was Burt Reynold’s personal Trans Am replica?

As someone who commutes from Indy to Columbus on 65 everyday, this man is doing God’s work. That road is a shit show.
Not 100% sure about the front, but the chrome strip along the bottom of the windows, the CHMSL position, and the rear turn signals all look very Cruze-like...
Anyone checking out the parade tomorrow, or any of tonight’s festivities downtown?
Once you’re in Bloomington route 45 is a fun drive. Plenty of tight turns through some very nice scener. Specifically this stretch:
Are those the numbers for the 1.5l Miata? Car and Driver reports a 6.4 second factory 0-60 number and claim they did it in 5.9 seconds in their test of the 2.0l Club with a manual.
I agree, a search of “light” in the document led to two mentions of light duty engines, neither seemed to be in reference to competition vehicles.
My dealer claimed that VW had a big conference call planned to reveal the fix that the EPA/CARB rejected before it was announced to the public, but that probably never happened. I feel so bad for the dealers, this whole process must be a nightmare for them.
And you would think VW would want to let us know sooner, because if I do end up putting the money back into my Golf I wouldn’t be nearly as inclined to give it up if they tried to buy it back.
Yeah, and they’ve done a terrible job of actually keeping us in the loop, which has made the risk analysis for this sort of situation a bit more difficult.
I probably would have gotten it done already, but I’ve used one of my back up cars in the mean time to keep some miles of the Golf. I’m really just holding out for a nice buyback so I can use the $1000 towards a Golf R at this point.
That sounds unfortunately typical haha. I don’t know why they even bothered with an expiration date on the gift cards....
Neutral: Considering my TDI has about 12,000 miles till it’s ready for a new timing belt and I put almost 30k miles a year on it, not much longer. I really rather not waste my “Goodwill” package on that if they’re just going to buy the car back anyways.
The Beast of Turin definitely caught me off guard the first time I watched this, I personally didn’t expect a 100 year old car to sound this much like the gates to hell opening (in a very awesome way, of course.)
Guys we should take these people seriously THEY WERE WITH A GIRL ONE NIGHT like they even have a Facebook milestone to prove it!!1!!1
As a fan of vintage enduro machines, the Husky 650 Baja looked sweet. If only it had made it to production for a bit before KTM took over...
Considering it’s low miles and super clean I’m sure it’ll do really well there. Good luck with the sale!
I have one! What do you say Doug, trade for the Skyline??
Haha they were probably promptly followed up with “Will u finance 4 me?”
Can I just say how glad I am to see your Skyline going on a site where it’ll most likely be persevered by its new owner? That thing is so nice it deserves to stay stock, or at least as stock as it currently is
