You do not want to burden yourself with thinking about the suffering of the lives that are killed for your consumption? They are the ones living through it, not you. The absolute least you could do is bear witness to the suffering that you contribute to. If you want to continue, then be strong, and do not look away.

You haven’t dated all vegans. Some do eat a lot of processed, junk foods, others only eat whole foods, some eat a combination of both. For me, I really don’t care what they eat as long as they aren’t harming innocent, vulnerable lives to do so.

I think you confuse eating plant based with being vegan. There is a whole ethical component that you seem less concerned with. Also, if you are saying it is more costly to eat whole foods, plant based over the S.A.D. then you now have me confused also.
