My friend had a Turbo and I thought it was a nice differentiator to the stock Beetle... until I heard it deploy on the highway: GRRRRRAAAAAAK! It sounded so cheap. Never understood why P AG wanted to save money by not painting the two black plastic pieces, forming the airdam, in the color of the car. Not much of a problem, if the car was black, quite obviously. But, following a Boxter of any other color, made the rear look as if the deck lid was open... How unattractive!
