What we can’t escape is his Christian celebrity. It exists, it is real, it opened doors for him. Is his story inspiring to me in an athletic regard? Not especially. Has he outperformed expectations in BB? Yes. From a religious-spiritual POV, (which many share, you don’t have to), everything happens for a reason. Who

Actually his tweet may not be that stupid. Tebow got caught up in the culture wars with the virulent anti gay “Focus on the Family”. To me this tweet sends a message that he is not discriminating against anyone. Which reinforces his distancing himself from anti gay Christian groups in 2013. Whether we like it or not,

“Space is what comes after everything, the dismal and most-known thing, the only permanent fact, **that all of this was an accident with its own correction and cleanup and erasure written into the fabric of its physical being.** Space is the only scary thing.

Or read articles about and make posts about it?

My heart breaks for a guy who was offered a paltry $100 million. Can we get real about the obscenity that is the pay scale in this endeavor?

I would like $20 million for a fresh start.

“Overall, being the general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers seems pretty sweet. Even apart from, like, getting to be a very rich person in a sunny and gorgeous town with great food and sweet beaches, it’s a good job: At any given time something like half the NBA’s best players seem like they’re either actively

Couldn’t happen to a “nicer guy”. Would like to see all these right wing f**** in Congress get theirs.

Bingo.

You can’t have hits or walks in a “perfect game”. You deciding on technicalities. I would absolve the pitcher of an error if said runner is erased.

I think this is the stupidest article I have ever seen in any venue anywhere. The ONLY modicum of sense is the error erased by a double play or some other mannher (runner thrown out stealing.) Hits and walks contributing to a “perfect game”? Not in my book. The “perfect game” by implication or definition should be

NO, it’s about obscenely rich people being dicks because they have leverage over people and don’t give one damn about the society they live in or the people they serve. The concept of giving back is foreign to him.

Why is it one or the other, as if Capitalism has been really noble and everything else corrupt? Boy are you brainwashed.

They must all be Republicans. They are Masters at fucking themselves by worshiping their leaders who screw them blind. This is obscene.

Sob. Why I’m weepy. The guy who took a wreaking ball to the NBA (which set it up to happen.) No pity here.

One of the three really decent teams in the East. How else do you combat this shit?

James set this all in motion. Blame him.

Agreed.

Leagues should vet owners before they can come in. You have to have sports acumen. The Nets and Kings as everyone’s plunder is bad business.

Very good. Bit him in the ass. “Wait ‘til next year” when I can f**k with the roster again and be a year older.
