It’s not just this morning. The outraged responses increase proportionally to the popular acceptance of the racial stereotyping. Nobody likes to be painted with a broad brush, or off-handedly categorized on the basis of skin color with groups of people that they see as ideologically distinct and morally reprehensible.
I don’t see the “white people” angle? That old white lady who knew the homeless man by name maybe could’ve kicked the asshole’s teeth in, but so could the young black guy filming.

Legitimate question: everyone in the comments calling her Kamiyah, she’s 19 and clearly prefers the name Alexis Manigo, so isn’t this basically dead-naming her? I’ve been told that’s disrespectful to a person’s agency.
