THAT’S what makes it so good. We have another Donna companion. Someone who the plot doesn’t immediately revolve around. Bill is obviously a quite a bit smarter than Donna. She asks a lot of obvious questions, but they’re not stupid obvious (if that makes sense). She’s plain and ordinary, and I like it.

This series should not work. No overarching plot out of the gate yet (vault?). No mystery about the companion, or prophecy, either. So far it just seems very S.T.O.W to me. It should make me indifferent to it.

I love Jason Statham and I love The Rock. I loved their scenes together. They are both simmering cauldrons of sexy charisma so YES PLEASE will take movie featuring only them doing some silly mission and giant explosions.
