Hello, Tomorrow was really good. Not what I expected (more comedy and less mystery than I thought there would be from the set-up) but I really had fun with it, expecially the design of the whole thing.

And her character in Oppenheimer was 1-dimensional, weak and barely in the thing. This sounds like a hostage-taker saying her captors are treating her well.

I’m happy with ignoring Prometheus for now, if this does well I’m sure it will come back in later seasons. But I can’t abide hatred towards Prometheus and the same regurgitated arguments about how stupid the crew were (as stupid as John Hurt in Alien to be exact). It’s tired and they’re all based on the same Youtube…

Armageddon may have been awful but at least Gervais doing the Golden Globes was watchable

As a writer and showrunner, Davies rightly remembers that Doctor Who can be fun and light and a bit goofy. But he also often forgets that it doesn’t have to be unwatchable, melodramatic crap. Hopefully, he does learn it this time around.

I see nothing to guarantee this is a dud, it looks lovely and everyone’s doing thier best acting, but I bet there’s a twist thier saving and its aliens or each side is being played by external forces (probably Madagascar, I dunno).
