You don’t have to have any understanding of the process in order to critique the result. It doesn’t matter how hard it is to make something, all we need to know is does it work? Yes or (in this case, mostly) no.

I don’t think anyone thinks that

I was an 80s kid watching the Channel 4 Max Headroom show and loved it. The revelation that he wasn’t CGI - that came after the show was done - was mindblowing. It felt like a massive shock and betrayal at the time. We thought we’d glimpsed the future but then it was pulled away.

I feel the same, a good film let down by a visually confusing splodge at the end. Really hope it doesn’t go that way for Kang.

You’re right, but I think some people genuinely struggle with that concept and think that entertainment appears out of thin air without any viewpoints or thought built into it.

Being anti-choice is wrong, it is as simple as that. The choice is with the mother. It has nothing to do with anyone else. We have to have this conversation in case someone ignorant comes along and tries to take away abortion rights. People have reason to be unhappy when rights are taken away.

Disappointed by this. The first episode was really bad, just a ton of cliches about old people, but right after that it took off and became engrossing and mysterious and the performances were all great. The end left me perfectly happy for a second season.

I think you’re not wrong, but every time I played it, something unexpected happened as well. There’s the grind - but its also accompanied by a range of weapons and a combat system that lets you find fun in fighting. There’s the repeated dungeons but also some lower-tier bosses that genuinely suprised me at the end of…

Good to know that even a seasoned gamer is in awe of it! It’s just left other games feeling barren by comparison.

Elden Ring changed what I expect from games. The design, mechanics, combat and rewards for exploration just ruined everything else for me. Even the voice acting is in a class of its own. Maybe I just haven’t played enough games, but I think it’s a genuine masterpiece.

Peacemaker is great, and I’d have agreed with you, had I not just watched episode 6 which really, really thrilled and shocked me.
