My interest in this moon film is waning.

He tried to undermine democracy. Democracy! The system upon which all this was built. Free and fair elections and the will of the people. That democracy. And he gets invited to appear on a singing show. It is utterly, incalculably wrong.

Shame he won’t get to make the Gambit movie on this o-Cajun.

Reece Shearsmith became my favorite LOGer after seeing In The Earth. Portrayed unhinged and dangerous in such a fantastic way. I hope he gets bigger roles.

Damon is Gorillaz now far more than he was ever Blur. I think most people are under the misapprehension he disappeared after Blur.

Mission Impossible 1 and 2 I can tell apart, but every movie since and I forget which one is which, and which set-piece is in which, because they all feel the same. I hope the new one does something different visually.

“Everyone should watch Yellowjackets” is the best thing to take away from this episode.

That guy can really move! I jest, that is amazing stuff and I still can’t figure out how they know how far and where to move stuff such that it works with the dialogue and stays consistent.

I think I could stop-motion animate something for about 20 frames before I get bored and smash it all up.

Do people not rate Ozark? Reception seems lukewarm here but I really enjoy it. It makes me slightly sick from worry every time, but it feels like a different spin on a crime family drama. And there’s no levity in it, like, at all. And I kind of find that refreshing.

Yep, I’m saying that. In my opinion there are better films this year than all the ones on your list.

Sometimes the best films are those that fewer people have seen. Sometimes they’re not. It’s time to accept that the breadth of films released each year is massive and touch on many different subjects, told in many different ways. No one is being pretentious, and accusing people of that is ridiculous and condescending.…
