I live in that area - hopping off the freeway to make it to his house will add at least another hour to your commute. It’s not hard to get there, but freeways are far from it, presumably the 10 East. Traffic is a beast at any time doing that other than 3am.

I used to go to Warped Tour once or twice every summer since it usually started and ended in California and I loved it. I took a few years off and went back for work in 2010 or 2011 with a completely different eye for what was going on.
