I think automated cars and trucks would go a lot further to reducing death rates than automated bikes. Regardless who was at fault in this accident, when is the last time you heard of a bike rider killing a driver in an accident?

I think you’ll find some jerks on recumbents, but most are friendly. I’m finishing building my own bent trike and I’ll so and talk to almost anyone unless I’m on a timetable.
