I wonder about this sometimes. It's like when Nickelodeon did the April Fools prank where they said they'd show a new episode of Rocko and it turned out to be an unending shot of a jar of mayonnaise. Like, yeah, it's a funny idea, but does anybody who gets the reference still watch Nickelodeon?

The whole "rush out a movie for $200 million and lean hard on the first weekend" is a bubble that has to burst sooner or later. You're right, though—I don't see anything terribly bad happening to anybody important.
