If I understand correctly, the initial idea was that Eccleston would be in it, and it would be revealed that he was the one who pushed the big red button during the Time War.

Ohhhhhhhh this movie is bad.

In retrospect, the SFII rejuvenation was just a bump in the ongoing decline of arcades. Gamers are fickle, and the tendency towards increasing complication made subsequent entries a lot less welcoming. More special moves/meters, new features to the gameplay that alienated beginners, etc. Street Fighter never got back

The MCU is slowly accumulating enough cameos for a full Community movie.

I got the sense from reading the book that Thompson simultaneously enjoyed the conversation and felt uncomfortable as hell the whole time.

To me, this was probably the last hurrah for Nick. Most of the shows I liked as a kid were packing it in, and Snick was just about the only remaining thing the network had for me. Hey Arnold! was the first show that felt a lot like a Nick cartoon, but never charmed me.

The bullet could ricochet and kill someone. Fortunately, this version of Superman won't care.

I'm just going to continue pretending that Man From UNCLE was the real BvS (Cavill: Superman, Hammer: Batman from the shelved Miller Justice League). Not only does this make Man From UNCLE better, but it lets me believe that there were no other Snyderverse movies after Man of Steel.

I just realized that this is exactly what's happening right now and it is upsetting to me.

Dear god, is the nostalgia cycle up to 1996 already? What am I supposed to reminisce about when I'm old? A time when I was slightly less old?

We're all dying.

Trump's America.

They're pretty original if you stop them after about 80 minutes or so. That's usually when the big sky beams/things crashing together happen.

More like Jared Letos forget about this movie, eh? Eh, comrades?

Cue people being assholes about something they elected to click on and lost absolutely nothing by doing so. Sorry the free shit on the Internet didn't meet your standards, guys.

Yeah, if you generalize my argument, you could apply it to any reboot. Except I'm also at least attempting to explain how it can work, and why, in this specific case, it doesn't.
