Every piece of shit Joe Rogan fan trots that shit out every fucking time.  Just say you're racist trash, dude. Own it

Rewatching early Archer. Pretty sure the Ubi heads are just pulling a Malory here.

Even at almost 50, you can go out and steal a car tonight. Life isn’t all about videogames. Live a little!

Seems like every time the game adds something they also add more ‘promised’ features to delay an actual release. If the goalposts for a release are moving faster than any actual progress being made, then it’s accurate to say it’s no closer to release.  We call this feature creep.

Nintendo has been it’s own type of console for a while now. With each generation I find that I pick between Xbox or Sony, and then I have a Nintendo. The Xbox/PS is going to be my everyday goto console. The Nintendo is the family friendly console, the nostalgia console, and most importantly always the one that I have

NO!

Microsoft got laughed out of the room when they had a meeting with Nintendo about acquiring them. It's not going to happen unless Nintendo is on its last legs, which it is not and is not likely to be anytime soon.

There’s no upside to that for the retailer besides consumer good will. The time and money it would take to set up a system that doesn’t immediately collapse under the load versus immediate sales to bots? Yeah, they’re gonna go with the guaranteed money for zero effort. Now, there’s an argument that the time spent

Ah, yes, upbeat fun music that still manages to address real issues at the same time. Better shit alllll over that.

If you die in the metaverse, do you die in real life?

What, is this the Pokémon community all of a sudden? “Every new Pokemon game must include every Pokémon that has ever existed including all the new ones. They must all be given brand new models—we WILL count the polys in the mesh—and zero attacks and animations are allowed to be re-used, they must all be brand new.

This all makes me very anxious. My entire life I’ve judged games based on fun and the narrative and the challenges and the art and how they control and how holistically finished they feel. Little did I know I was doing it all wrong, and I should instead have focused on puddles and trees and a character’s climbing

The whole FPS thing, to a certain degree, comes off like every audiophile who will talk your ear off for interminable hours about how you can’t really hear the music unless you’re listening to the original recording on a $1000+ turntable and have gold cables to your $500 headphones or whatever, tbh.

This is super ironic to me. Let me tell ya, I’ve been served, time and time again, the eternal argument AGAINST backward compatibility by Sony fanboys saying that they much prefer Sony invest its money in making new games instead, and that BC was for Xbox losers, that anyone who wants to play old game should just keep

Don’t let Sony off the hook here. They want the exact same thing, and while Microsoft gets all the heat from gamers over what they almost did with the XB1, the far more spectacular failure to exert control was what Sony did with the PS3.

“Dude,” Saqib said, “imagine if a generation of kids had grown up on Jodorowsky’s Dune instead of fucking Star Wars.

At a base level I feel like there can be economic value in providing for actual digital scarcity.”

You feel.

You. Feel.

Is it the worst though? I fucking love it. I now mainly play SWAT/Tactical Slayer, but Fiesta is a mindless bit of fun, especially with friends after a few beers. I wish all challenges involved having to play Fiesta...
