I disagree with that. I understand that 3 is divisive because Rockstar basically took the Max Payne franchise and made it more in line with their GTA franchise, but man the one thing that does keep me coming back to that game is the gameplay—it’s just so fun.

Probably the closest a game has ever come to capturing that

nah.  Max’s arc is basically done in Max Payne 3.

eeeeh...I”m always iffy about stuff like this. Like, yeah, as an experiment, it fine. But I don’t particularly think stuff like this makes the games look better: it just makes it look busier. The problem is is the tech is at odds with the actual design of the game. So it all looks odd.

It’s a neat gimmick that I

Then again, I’m still paying for Game Pass so something tells me Microsoft would probably be perfectly happy with users falling into this use case.

I don’t know how much has changed, but they pretty much believe that the new CEO is gonna somehow turn everything around, make GS an overnight success, and everyone is gonna become rich.

Sure. But what happens when there’s another covid flair up? Shit, what happens if another, entirely different pandemic happens. I ain’t gonna say that we should be quarantine back up and mask up at all times because we can’t. People are tired because it is mentally straining.

The problem is is that political and

Like if they were at least honest about it, I can respect that at least.

Nothing is more gross than seeing those ads talking about how much a company cares about its employees and customers when everyone knows that they’re trying to get people to get back to work and refusing to offer raises or financial help because

I mean this is kind of an issue with the Dems, as even Biden and co are trying to move on from the pandemic. Monthly covid payments was never going to happen as long as dark money from corporations continues to flow in our government.

People had a taste of “socialism” thanks to quarantine and companies do not like that.

I don’t have much of an issue with reducing covid precautions because the science, for now, seems to check out that hospitalizations and deaths have reduced significantly. The problem is that we’ve decided that we’re going to pretend that everything is fixed and that we don’t have to talk about covid anymore and that

oh god...Pojos.  I used to always the get Dragonball themed magazines at the local supermarket.

bruh...

I mean its simpler than that: You like getting paid.

Most people will turn a blind eye to abuses so long as they get a pay check and keep their benefits.

I’d say that we should probably let ourselves off the hook. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t care, but that it does mean that the problems here are baked into the structure: hierarchies and power dynamics basically breed this shit making toxicty all but inevitable. And that kind of environment invites assholes who are

I think the initial hostile reaction towards GTA IV’s “lack of fun” *insert jerk off motion here* pretty much ensured that V would be kind of a tonal mess, trying to appease people who liked the introspective nature of IV while also appeasing to people who wanted San Andreas 2.

Thankfully a lot of what I liked about IV

I think that’s the thing people were hoping for (the only reason I have my ps3 still is because it acts as my 2000s-era jrpg machine), and I don’t think Sony has any indicators of bringing my old downloads to a current console.

So yeah..kinda sucks to be paying for a service to play games I already own.

...wut.

??

Nintendo is a Japanese company.  So crunch time is just a regular week for a developer.

Yeah I’m not sure how this is meant to be competitive with gamepass, nor does this seem like the all-in-one playstation pass that people were hoping this would be. That premium only really works if Sony is committed to providing older games. But the exclusion of Vita games kinda makes me think that this is just gonna

I’d argue you should just read the manga.  what it lacks in animation, it more than makes up for in Oda’s incredible art and no fluff.
