No, I think Ludicrous brings a lot to the series actually...

It is a superhero movie with the superheroes and villains usually requiring cars for their powers to work. It is about as ridiculous as the Avengers movies, except it has cars.

Why all the hate towards the f&f franchise? Is it ludicrous? Of course, but so is star wars, and every other movie that is not a documentary. It’s not supposed to be wheeler dealer or motorweek!
