Harry Baals could not get a building named after him in spite of the internet, so no.

So that scene with Pixie/wasp-wing chick-is that supposed to be some sort of mutant Champagne Room? I'm also intrigued at the rest of the direction this movie is going.

This is already in the works. Google FAA NextGen.

I loved the world building too, which made this more of a disappointing missed opportunity. I would see a Monsters 2, just to see what else they would do in this world. Not everyone can be mopey, right?

Monsters-Ugh. I just watched that movie last night. It was 2 or so hours of watching two people mope about because they had relationship troubles. Every so often, one of Cthulu's cousins would drop by.

A vampire falling in love with a human is like a human falling in love with a chicken. No wonder they're always so miserable.

They HAVE to be new battleships, since for this movie they would need giant holes for the pegs to fit in.

Is that look Alex's Blue Steel pose? He does that quite a bit in True Blood as well.

Meh.

Colbie Smulders in Robin Sparkles: Agent of SHIELD

A better animated depiction was WW in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. The WW-centric episode has enough source material for its own movie (WW vs Hades!).

Why did we not like this show? Maybe because it looked like the bastard child of Heroes seasons 2-3 and NightMan?

@van_line: Well, if you put it like that, "he got bit by a spider and it made him a hero" sounds pretty lame too, but it's not, because there's more to the story than that, just like with Captain America.

I use "I'll be back" whenever I need to announce that I will be returning to the place I just visited.

Based on the post, it doesn't seem like Hopkins snuck any type of secret atheist message in the movie. It's a straight-up agnostic sentiment. Nothing sneaky about that.

I couldn't bother to watch the whole video. Does she die at the end of it?

More and more Dubai seems like the Tower of Babel, Part 2, or depending on your belief system, a real-life Tower of Babel.

@knightvash, (and others)-Oops. I didn't even think about that possibility. I always assumed "remove yourself from the gene pool" meant death.

@nbergseng: Nope. To qualify for a Darwin Award you have to have died.
