For years companies that sold a dangerous, highly addictive drug sponsored racing teams. They’d emblazon their logos and color schemes on the cars, racing suits and helmets, and signs around the tracks. Drivers would be seen feeding their addiction right out in the open, and would sometimes personally endorse the use

Damn, I miss real Top Gear. Good times.

The white circle.

Exactly.

Democrats: “No states rights, federal rule for all”

It’s less about California doing “good” and more about California overwriting the standards of every other state.

Having one state, populated by former hippies who somehow hate liberty now and love the state they fought against, thinks they can dictate how you live, impose ridiculous regulations which drive up costs and the freedom onto which you make your purchases.

Sears troubles were they bought Kmart which is deemed so low that even walmart shoppers won’t step foot in one, and then they replaced what good they had with low quality garbage. All they had to do was ditch k-fart and focus on tools and appliances again. It’s working for home depot and lowes.

Yep. Abandon long-term stability for an expectation that profits will somehow magically increase EVERY quarter.

Wall Street gives no fucks as long as they get their money and they get it now.

Fiduciary duty for short-term profits to exclusion of all else was, and remains, a mistake.

As far as CUVs go, BMW does a fantastic job of making them drivable for enthusiasts. We did Performance Center Delivery on our X3 (stop laughing, plz), and we actually got some track time in. I would classify the X3 as handling about as good as a competent sedan, but not as good as the 3-series. It’s not something I’d

The truth is- the M cars really look way better and sportier than the plain jane BMW’s. It’s like they designed the cars with the M styling in mind, and then they uglified the cars to make it all dowdy and Buick looking to create the plain jane versions, just to punish you for not paying that extra $2k+ to get the M

Save a few bucks and gain some practicality, just buy the X1, which looks quite good in Estoril blue.

The manufacturing process for batteries needs to improve before that happens. The extraction of rare earth metals is pretty nasty at the moment.

Hey, diesel’s had a great run. But it may be time for automakers and suppliers to look to the electric future instead.

Yea, no thanks Amazon! Use fedex/ups and leave it in the stoop. I’m just not that comfortable with this level of invasive tech [as I type with my thumbs on a screen…].

Every time I hear stories like that I am reminded I could never live in a city

Based on the note of starting around 20 seconds a lap off pace and then ending up 13 seconds off, picking up 7 seconds across one race with shared seat time is pretty damn good.

You’re doing great, Stef, and never let anyone tell you otherwise. Robb Holland sounds like a truly great guy. The kind of guy who knows that somebody out there will always be faster than you will, even in your own car (which can be quite humbling). It’s just a fact of life. All us Normals can do is make ourselves
