I agree - no touchy touchy. People caught doing this should be removed post haste.

Not entirely sure why this is controversial, she clearly explained why its poor form and the potential for actual damage, not just fingerprints. Do you guys all run around touching cars at events, especially concours? WHY do you even NEED to touch the cars? Crimini Crackmas!!!
I’d go a step further. Unless invited to do so, don’t touch other people’s stuff. How the F were these people raised, that they think it’s fine?
Bad Ballaban.
he used the trunk of someone’s parked BMW as a table to hold his crap because he didn’t want to put it on the ground.
Saw some italian dude get straight up booted from the Petersen for doing this with one of the Ferraris in the entrance way. (I think it was a 360 but can’t remember exactly)
It was behind ropes and everything but he felt compelled to lean on the spoiler for a photograph. So he and his girlfriend had a rather short…
Flat bottom steering wheels were on sports cars that tended to have smaller/tighter/lower seating positions to help getting in and out.
Kind of a shame to only make 40 manual versions, and the only color option you can get is gray. If you’re gonna make a special car, give it a special color.
As a Chilean that is excited about an upcoming trip to Torres del Paine and Tierra del Fuego, thank you for sharing this! That’s awesome and I never knew about these! Such a cool find. I hope our people are treating you well and that you're enjoying our beautiful country! Be safe :)
Torch is one of those people who, when he answers the question “how ya doin” with “Livin the dream,” he means it.
This is good Jalopnik: finding rare cars, and meeting nice car enthusiasts, while on a long road trip.
Any word on if the artificial sound can just sound like louder tire sound? I think that would be the most natural fake noise for electrics. I mean, above 19 mph, that’s the sound that people will be hearing anyway, right?
Didn’t Ford just kill the Fusion, then announced that it was coming back as an Estate, because dealers were upset that the Fusion model was essentially being tossed to the trash can, even though the model is well known and supported by consumers? And now... they want to make it a “Police Responder Hybrid Sedan???”…
it’s for pedestrian safety, mainly the blind/vision impaired. New York has had an uptick of blind pedestrian injuries as electric/hybrid cars have become more common.
It won’t matter if they are silent or not, I can see them in my rear view mirror, riding up the rear trying to tempt me into speeding away from them.
Cars are becoming larger and more expensive because financing has been getting looser since the 80s.
I’m one of these people. I have an 08 I bought in January of 09 and currently have about 94,500 on the odometer. It still runs fine, gets good mileage, meets my needs and I enjoy driving it. It doesn’t have a lot of the modern bells and whistles, but it does have features new cars don't, so I have a hard time…
track day 101: bring a fire extinguisher.
Cars have gotten bonkers expensive. I own a loaded 2011 Mustang GT (first year of Coyote) with the Brembo package, and it was $35K brand new. Seven years later, an equivalent new one is pushing $50K. I’m cool with being down a few stock horsepower, no magnetic ride, cooled seats and bad integration with my phone on…
I don’t find this surprising. Granted humans are FAR from perfect drivers, but teaching an AI or computer to recognize and properly respond to an almost infinite number of variables only some of which follow some sort of set “rules” in a monumental task.
