The one thing that actually made me by a 2010 SHO was the cluster. It was ice blue. The engine and AWD helped a bit too. Anywho...the speedometer compressed all the speeds after 100mph in space that it took to go 0-20. Didn’t spend too much time in that range. Wish more cars would do the same.

or oil pressure and temp...all cars should be required to have Coolant and Oil temp as well as oil pressure - not that 98% of people driving would have any idea what they mean.

I wonder what they did differently with the roads here in Phoenix— it regularly gets above 100ºF for like 2-3 months in the summer here, and I’ve never seen any roads melt.

Preach. Growing up in a suburb was a blast as a kid, and it’s comfortable and affordable as an adult. My kids have a yard to play in, I have a third stall in which to wrench on and detail my toy, and everything is within a 10 minute drive.

There are asphalt mixes and binding technology that will withstand that heat. Other places in the world with extreme heat indexes can cope without their roads melting.
