This is silly. It is a collision between automobiles. The human operated vehicle ran into another vehicle that was computer operated. Even when not at faul for accidents, what do these cars do to mitigate potential accidents? For example, something as simple as honking.

Yeah, when I was younger I got myself into $2,000 worth of credit card debt. That doesn’t seem like much but I learned my lesson. I’m never doing that again! If I can’t pay the card off every month then I’m not buying it.

I can get Ford x-plan pricing through my company, which is half a percent under dealer invoice plus $400. If I was going to get a new car, that’d be a really tempting offer.

And just like houses, repo’d cars will loose much of their value if a large amount of them is repo’d at once flooding the market. This could lead to massive losses to the banks repo’ing these cars. Probably won’t cause them to fail, but do we really want to find that out?

A. If Fords cars weren’t reliable, then our free market would reflect that. The fact that people are able to, and choose to, hold on to their vehicles longer than ever before is part of the reason why sales numbers industry-wide are dropping.
