I am about to blow your fucking mind.
When did she do this? Please I am so curious if you actually know anything about her email situation.
Even straight people who aren’t 100% gender conforming and/or compliant with gender stereotypes. It does everything!
I’ve done that at concerts, and other things, along with a bunch of my friends. No one cared.
Back home, when the queue was too long in women’s’ bathrooms, i used to go over at the mens. Suddenly, I feel very revolutionary.... Seriously, what is the deal with the bathroom in this country?
It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that that bar's bathroom is safe for four year-old girls.
Huh. I hadn’t thought about whether these bathroom bills were also stealth attempts to harass gays, lesbians, and bisexuals before. This must be part of that new educational series, The More You Didn’t Want To Know.
How incredibly unprofessional of you.
Sorry! Old phone= bad kinja. Lots of typos and sometimes can’t reply. But I appreciate your kindness/openness!
“It’s free so don’t complain when it’s bad” is really not the strongest defense against criticism, you have to admit.
Because it’s so gratifying when the writers come into the comments section to mean-girl anyone with anything remotely critical to say! No honestly, it’s because there are occasionally worthwhile discussions to be had with other commenters here about feminism, while you guys are busy trying to out-cool each other.
So the dude who mathematically can’t catch the front runner, and is despised by everyone, decides to name a VP who no one likes and who has succeeded at nothing.
They all really rally in the comments for each other, too.
Okay, the first time you guys used this conceit, it was hilarious. It gets exponentially less funny every time you do it again. Think of some new jokes, pls.
:) Blair Witch/ Blair Bitch is the name good
Yes, I’ve been mocked about my hair texture. Yes, I’ve been called racial epithets (not cockroach tho) as stated my younger siblings and I pass for mostly white. It doesn’t mean we didn’t get flack from both sides. Much less an issue now that I’m older and my family isn’t around. At worst from time to time someone…
Starfire was NOT always like this. This is Scott Lobdell's creation and has little in common with the character Wolfman and Perez created other than some basic background and name. Perez does not care for the rebooted Starfire at all. Here is a summary of an exchange between him and a fan/blogger:
If only there were some way to update her character... some sort of new development in comics, refreshing and tweaking characters and storylines, maybe even reaching out to (or acknowledging) demographics that have been largely ignored... shrug. What can you do? That's the way she was written in the Bible.
Yep, and the article actually says there's nothing wrong with her skimpy costume because "adults can dress how they want." But the old Starfire had emotions and relationships and action and stuff, not just a sexiness that consumed her entire personality.
