Friends, because they talked about sex in a relate-able way.. Also, because no one died from licking envelopes.

Preach it sister. I am blessed with a husband who really likes to clean. However, we have 6 children (3 boys, 3 girls) and ALL of of them know how to do age appropriate cleaning tasks. I always say it is our job to raise functioning members of society, not assholes. So that means they can clean, they can cook, they

Props to all of you for remembering this many of the characters from BSC! Now lets do it again for my favorite book series of this genre "Sweet Valley High". I have never recovered from not getting a Jeep Wrangler in High School!

You beat me to it!!

"It'd be a lot cooler if you did" .......

So this: There are only six more episodes left, which I shall watch eagerly and reluctantly at the same time = the truthiest truth ever. God I love but hate this show all at the same time. Excuse me while I go re-watch all 6 seasons of the West Wing on Netflix. Again.

Something tells me the cheezy love stories were just a cover for the horrible human he *allegedly* is.

Thank god for you Mark... I love that you peruse the trenches of the internet and bring us the very creme de la creme.

I agree with you. I just don't think anyone who offers up UNSOLICITED birth stories does it out of concern for the mother to be.

Call me boring, but I think real love isn't tear-stained kisses under the Spanish moss—it's about switching to turkey bacon because of your husband's cholesterol and cleaning the litter box for a cat you despise because your wife's pregnant and she loves that furry little asshole.

My grandpa always said, "There's only 2 good kinds of pie. Hot & cold".

I have (according to the sameatschildren method, which is what I have done for years) a size 38K bra size. Joy. True & Co. maybe on the right track, but until they have sizes like that, I wont be impressed. As it is now, I buy at Cacique, the Lane Bryant brand and buy a 44H. Does it fit right, not really. Can I afford

Much of the windfall will go into college funds for her kids, charity donations and a family trip to France.

6 babies. No horror stories. Last 2 C-sections. Those were worse in the long run. The biggest horror of all of my births was the "no driving anywhere for 6 weeks" rule that came after the c-sections. SIX WEEKS!! W.T.F? I have shit to do!

I bet your so was delighted with the end result. You know, if that is how you roll.

Your mom is a smart lady.

Amen to that! I was always grossly aware that anytime ANYONE wants to tell you the story of their child's birth it is, in essence, showing off. They either want to horrify you with the insane details, or paint a picture so pretty an=bout their doula and the mood lighting and then show you a picture of themselves in

Alone is not all bad... But truly you aren't alone if you have 8 other humans who will be ready to jump in front of a train for you. I had my youngest @ 30 so at 48 I will be celebrating my independence from minors! I will most definitely be ready to travel the world.

As I have one child entering University of Oregon this year and then a 15, 14, 12, 9 and 5 year old, their schooling keeps me beyond busy... lol.. Not to mention broke. I am a certified medical biller, so I did pursue some education and I take classes.. I have aspirations of writing.

Being a mom (6 times over no less) and raising self-assured, not spoiled, hard working, polite, grateful children, is one of my great successes. Not ever letting them know that I truly would rather not have done it is my other.
